Who we are and acceptance
BlindDesk is a trading name of Achilles Media Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16940963 ("BlindDesk", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using BlindDesk you agree to these terms on behalf of your business. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to hello@blinddesk.co.uk.
Licence to use BlindDesk
Subject to these terms and your active subscription, we grant your business a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use BlindDesk for your internal business operations. You must not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the service except to the extent permitted by law.
Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping login credentials secure, and for all activity under your accounts. You must be authorised to act for your business and must ensure your team members comply with these terms. You must be 18 or over and use BlindDesk for legitimate business purposes.
Acceptable use
You must not use BlindDesk to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or misuse it in a way that could harm BlindDesk or other users. We may suspend access to protect the service, our users, or third parties.
Your data and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the business and customer information you enter into BlindDesk. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that information and for the accuracy of quotes, orders, invoices, payments, credit notes and any records you create or send. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid features require an active subscription. Fees, billing periods and any trial terms are shown at sign-up or on our pricing page. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on reasonable notice.
Third-party integrations
BlindDesk can connect to third-party services you choose to authorise, such as accounting providers (for example Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage) and email delivery. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. When you connect a provider and choose to send records, you authorise BlindDesk to create or update those records on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing what is sent, and for the accuracy of your accounting data in the connected provider.
Intellectual property
BlindDesk, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Achilles Media Limited and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you beyond the licence granted above.
Availability, warranties and liability
We work hard to keep BlindDesk available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using BlindDesk and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or where necessary to protect the service. On termination your licence ends; we handle any data export or deletion in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be notified through the service or by email, and continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
